The crowning glory of any kitchen is the worktop, where form and function meet. It is one of the most important decisions you’ll make on your kitchen design journey. You need to choose the worktop that is right for your lifestyle, not just your budget, so it can withstand the rigours of everyday use.
Whether it’s quartz, composite stone, hard wood, granite or laminate, the Ruach design team will help you choose the right luxury finish, and create a layout that has all the preparation space you need.
The installation of worktops is an art, so here at Ruach Kitchens we entrust this job to our own skilled team. For stone worktops, we work alongside specialist companies, to create a first-class finish. Visit our showroom in Westerham, Kent, to view our extensive range of luxury and bespoke worktops.
SILESTONE, SENSA & DEKTON
We are a premiere showroom for Cosentino, this means we have all of their worktop samples on display for you to look at.
Silestone – A non-porous, hygienic option means you get zero staining even from curry powder and acids. With over 80 different colours and three different textures (polished, volcano and suede), Silestone is made of more than 90% natural quartz making it very hard wearing, perfect for kitchen surfaces.
Sensa – A high quality natural granite, Sensa is unlike others as it has a ground-breaking protective treatment which means you can enjoy your kitchen without the need for special up-keep and maintenance.
Dekton – An ultracompact surface, Dekton is made of quartz, porcelain and glass. Zero-porosity makes Dekton a very versatile and high resistant choice and can even be used for exterior surfaces. With a range of colours, patterns, matt and gloss finishes, you’ll find something to perfectly compliment your kitchen.
All stone products are resistant to daily use in the kitchen, however these are naturally cold products and can experience thermal shock if a scolding hot pan is placed on the surface straight from the oven or hob, which could cause cracking and can invalidate your warranty. Always use trivets or pan rests with hot pans.
Once registered, the standard warranty is valid for 25 years.
Our laminate worktops come from Mobalpa or Brian Jackman. Both of which provide excellent quality and style. With varying thicknesses and colour options, you can create a similar effect to stone without paying stone prices.
Occasionally our customers ask for hard wood worktops, these can be provided by one of our suppliers. Solid wood is a softer material than stone or laminate and would need much more maintenance to prevents stains or marks. We often use wood as features areas such as breakfast bars.
